Going to Disney World in April with husband, 8 and 4 year old. Question about fast passes and rider swap? Do I book 4 fast passes for Expedition Everest or do I just do 2 for that ride and 2 for a preschool ride? How best do all 3 of us ride Everest?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberly!

One of my favorite planning portions of my vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort is when I get to book my family's FastPass+! I love getting to dream up our adventure-filled days at the theme parks and it just builds anticipation and gets us so excited to enjoy our favorite attractions.

Kimberly, I think your approach to spread out your FastPass+ and combine the ones you book with Rider Switch is the way to go. No need to book a FastPass+ for an attraction some of your family members won't be able to ride.

My kids are spread apart in age, so when I have planned our theme park days, I'll usually book split FP+ for my husband with one of our kids, then for myself with the other. That way there is always an adult to ride with the child, and we still all get to enjoy the big thrill attractions with little wait with Rider Switch. My oldest son doesn't mind missing out on some of the attractions that are more geared for preschoolers, so I take that into consideration when booking those separate FP+.

To help you plan, you can search for attractions with specific height restrictions, so you can pick and choose from that list. Doing so helps me when I'm planning this out so I don't forget any favorites and just having a list in front of me is a good visual aid when planning. Simply visit the Things to Do tab, select Attractions, and use the filter tools to see what you need.

I hope this helps as you continue to dream up and plan your fun-filled days at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
