Hi Disney moms Just wondering when kids order the specialty drink now offered in 2018 dining plans does that include the specialty cup that it comes in or is that something extra (ie. The cups with the growing Disney character that the menu lists)

    Hi Julianna!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The additions to the 2018 Disney Dining Plan are pretty exciting! It definitely adds value to purchasing the plan.

From the Disney Dining Plan website information
    Beverages:
Guests under 21 years of age can choose one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single-serving mixed cocktail, beer, or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement.

In chatting with a Walt Disney World Cast Member, I learned that the Dining Plans do NOT include the special cups/cubes/straws. It does include ordering the special drink, just not the cups, etc.

However, it's never a bad idea to check with your server. There are times that Cast Members will go above and beyond to make your day a little more magical. Please don't expect it, but it definitely hurts nothing to ask.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
