We are going on the Disney Wonder on the 7 night Alaska cruise in late July. Can you tell me if there is a pirate party on this cruise? Also, I have a 6 year old girl who loves to "dress up". Do a lot of kids bring and wear costumes on the cru

    Hi, Cliff!

Be prepared to be awed -- you are going to be blown away by your Alaskan voyage aboard the Disney Wonder! My family and I just returned from this cruise a couple of weeks ago, and we're still savoring our memories. We want to go back!

There is a Pirates Deck Party, and it was so much fun to dance on deck late at night...just as the sun was setting! Guests wore piratical attire at dinner that evening and at the deck party, and there was a yummy buffet with hearty fare.

Many little guests don their favorite character costumes throughout the cruise.  You'll see many of the beloved Disney characters and the princesses, and keep an eye out on deck for characters dressed in Alaskan attire. I just loved seeing Mickey dressed as a fisherman!

Remember to dress your family in layers with a waterproof/resistant shell on the outside. Pack your good binoculars, plenty of memory/batteries for your camera and a couple of pairs of good walking/hiking shoes. I'm so excited for you!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
