On the Disney Wonder cruise ship, can you put magnets on the cabin walls? I know that the door to the cabin and bathroom can have magnets on them but I would like to know about the walls themselves for decorating.

    Welcome aboard, Jennifer!

Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always magical, but my kids thrill in the extra magic of having a decorated stateroom door and even stateroom itself! Many guests will design and create their own personalized magnets to help make their door stand out from the rest of the identical doors in those long halls, and that is something that is always tops on our list too. When we pack, we're sure to keep the magnets in our carry-on bags because my kids want that to be the first thing we do to personalize our stateroom when we arrive. Yes, the stateroom doors are magnetic, but the big surprise is that even some of the walls and the ceiling, (yes, the ceiling!), are magnetic too!

We discovered this when my friends surprised me on my birthday by pre-ordering birthday decorations for the stateroom so that when my family and I arrived for my birthday cruise, we'd be greeted by a floor to ceiling celebration! It was so special to walk in and see that! What a great way to kick off our cruise! Now, whether you pre-order special decor from the Gifts and Amenities page of Disney Cruise Line's website, or just create your own, you can certainly personalize your room. No adhesives are allowed as they can damage the ship, but magnets are just fine!

So, have fun creating decorations, Jennifer, and enjoy a magical adventure at sea!
