We r going to disney the week of March 20th. My son will be turning 13 that week and he wants a b'day dinner at Chef Mickey so I have made those reservations but is there any suggestions as to how else we can make his birthday awesome! it is hard with boys

    Hi Diane,

If your son is like many of the 13 yr-old boys I know, he may really love Disney Quest, Disney's interactive indoor theme park.  If you haven't been, its a huge four story arcade in Downtown Disney that doesn't require quarters.  They have all of your basic games and many multiples of the most popular ones plus amazing special attractions.  Check out the link above for descriptions of what you can expect.  My family can easily spend half a day there loving every minute.

You can followup the gamers paradise with a visit to Ridemakerz.  The shop is a relatively new addition to Downtown Disney.  Your son would be able to design and assemble his own remote control car.  It would make for a great experience plus he would have an awesome souvenir to bring home.

This is just one idea.  There is so much to do in WDW, I'm sure you will find a way to make your son's birthday as magical as possible.
