The Disney website says no "soda, chips etc" allowed on the cruise but so many websites say to do it. Are you allowed to bring chips on board as long as they are not opened?

    Hi Cissy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I am guessing that they are referring to large quantities of snacks, chips and drinks.  We typically have a long day of travel prior to boarding, so it is not unusual for us to have snacks with us in our carry-on bags -  and I have never had an issue.  Honestly I think you will be fine bringing a bag of chips - but it's worth mentioning that there are several locations on board that you will single-serving bags of chips.  On my most recent voyage there was always a supply of Lays plain and barbecue potato chips at the lunch buffets and counter service dining locations.  No charge for them - just grab a bag and enjoy!

    I hope this helps!
