which disney water park is most recommended for a 6 and 7 year kid?

    Hi Neives,

Both of Disney's water parks offer plenty to do for elementary age children. However, my personal preference is Blizzard Beach. I like this park for mid-single-digit kids because of the dedicated area called Ski Patrol Training camp. The activities and slides here are more challenging and interesting than those at the little-kid Tike's Peak area, but are more manageable than the larger slides that are open to teens and adults. There is no comparable "middle ground" at Typhoon Lagoon.

The one exception to my recommendation of Blizzard Beach would be if you have big shark lovers in your family. Typhoon Lagoon has a swim-with-the-sharks attraction that is included in the price of regular admission. If this appeals to your kids, then by all means go for it, otherwise hit the "slopes" at Blizzard Beach.

    Enjoy!
