Can I use Disney Visa Rewards dollars for MNSSHP? Hope to surprise kids with the party on arrival day. Also, if I don't have MYW tickets and only buy the hard tickets for the event, are FP+ needed and/or available for scheduling to use on rides that night?

    Hi Gina,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I have a Disney Visa Card myself and I just love it!  I use it as often as I can to help earn Disney Dream Reward Dollars for family's next Walt Disney World vacation.  I've used my Reward Dollars for everything from dining to souvenirs to park tickets, so I'm happy to report that you absolutely CAN use those to purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  The easiest way to do that is by going online using that link above.  Be sure you have your Disney Rewards Redemption Card in hand first and that you've transferred your Reward Dollars onto it, which you can do by calling the number on the back of your Disney Visa Card or by logging onto your account online.

As a Disney Visa Cardholder, be sure to take advantage of the other great perks available to you when you visit, like merchandise discounts and the private character meet 'n' greet at Epcot (with a free photo)!

While I haven't seen any official information on FastPass+ during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I would not expect those to be available based on what's happened in the past.  No need to worry, though - lines are typically shorter and crowds lighter during those events, making it easier to do and see all your favorites.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a spook-tacular time, Gina!  Please let us know we can help answer any other questions for you.
