1st Disney trip for my 3yr old princess and mine as well. I am completely overwhelmed and I am not even there yet. I am so excited but want it to be perfect. Any suggestions on how to ease my nerves regarding this "perfect" vacation?

    Hi Jennifer:

Good news. There are some great Disney vacation planning tools, including the moms panel, available right on Walt Disney World's website to help you plan your perfect vacation.

My first piece of advice is to order the free Disney Vacation Planning DVD, which will give you an overview of Disney World's four amazing theme parks, two incredible water parks and more than 20 magnificent Disney Resort hotels, as well as give you family vacation planning tips and details about special events in Disney Parks in Florida.

I would also visit Walt Disney World's website to browse vacation packages and take advantage of Disney's "My Disney Vacation" planning page to help you create an itinerary of must-see attractions and entertainment. Also look at Disney World's FAQ page for answers to frequently asked Guest questions.

Another popular site,, which is not an official Disney website, also has some great planning tools. Just use the search function on the website to search for "planning."

Although a lot of information to take in, the sooner you start planning the better, especially since you can start making Advance Dining Reservations 180-days in advance. It's likely that after a few minutes browsing these websites, you'll find that planning a Disney vacation is a lot more fun than intimidating.

    Enjoy your vacation.
