I have been to Disney many times, but this time I have children and I want to do a character dining, which one do you suggest? my children's ages will be 4, 2, & 1. ( 2 girls, 1 boy) i want something fun for all -  something to remember.

    Hi there Keri!

I think it's a fantastic idea to include at least one character meal during your Disney vacation.  I have two suggestions.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is "the" quintessential Disney character meal in my opinion.  Mickey and his pals delight guests as they dine on a huge buffet with many options.  You can have breakfast or dinner here.  If I had to pick one, I'd vote for dinner, because it includes a whimsical dessert buffet that is sure to delight your kids!  If your clan are fans of Playhouse Disney, you might also consider the Play n' Dine character meal at Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Here, you can have breakfast or lunch (dinner is served as well, but it is not a character meal) alongside some Playhouse Disney Pals.  In addition, some talented Cast Members entertain the crowd with Playhouse favorites such as the "Pat, Pat" song from the Little Einsteins and "Hot Dog" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Be sure to make advanced dining reservations, as character meals are very popular and tend to fill up.  You may do so up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).  Whichever you chose, bon appetit!
