Mom With Kids After Run

We are going to Disney for the 1st time with our 2 year old. We have a lightweight and full-size stroller. Our airline allows either to be taken on for free, but I don't know which is easier. I just worry that I won't have enough storage with the smaller.

    Hi Whitney:

There is so much walking at Disney World that strollers are a must at Disney World for toddlers, even for older toddlers.  It's likely your daughter will spend more time in the stroller than you realize, either resting or even napping.  It's likely it will be much easier to travel with the lightweight stroller, but the biggest consideration I'd give to the decision is which stroller is your daughter more comfortable traveling in considering she may spend more time than usual in her stroller.  The larger stroller is likely more comfortable for your daughter to rest in and provides more storage, so if the larger stroller folds up easy enough, that is likely the stroller to choose.  My kids have used both regular and lightweight strollers at Disney World and have been fine in both.  But given the choice, with most every other consideration being equal, I would lean towards the stroller that is more comfortable for your daughter.

    Enjoy your vacation.
