Going to Disney for the 1st time for 5 days starting Monday. Should we tour a park per day? This was a suggestion to us. We have made dinner reservations. We have the MYW ticket with hopper and meal plan. BTW we have a 12 yr old. We are super excited!

    Hi Eric,

Congratulations on your first Disney vacation!  I'm betting that you will make tons of great memories, and that you'll leave planning your next Disney adventure.  There's so much to see and do!

Are you staying at a Disney Resort?  If so, I would take advantage of the extra magic hours either in the morning or evenings.  If you're get up and go type of people, get up and go to a park that has extra magic hours in the morning.  During that first hour, you'll get a lot of attractions in.  Then, once the park starts to get crowded, grab some lunch and either head back to the resort for a rest OR head to another park -- one that doesn't have magic hours that day.

If you've made dinner reservations in a park that has extra magic hours in the evening, reverse your schedule.  Choose a park in the morning that doesn't have extra magic hours.  Then, after your break, head off to dinner and plan to play late.  The extra magic hours at night are generally quite crowded during the first hour, but those who last until the end are rewarded with short lines -- people tire out pretty quickly.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
