Hi moms! Have been to disney several times with family of 6. Sometimes when specials are advertised, Disney refers to a family of 4 as 2 adults, one junior and 1 child. Is a junior cheaper than a child?

    Hi!

I'm pretty sure that what Disney is referring to is the following age groups:

    under 3: child
    3-9: junior
    over 9: adult

You'll always want to price out a package deal vs. purchasing the components of your trip separately. Most (but not all) of the time booking a room only reservation and tickets separately is cheaper.

For instance, if Disney is providing an advertised special for 2 adults, one junior and 1 child. That child is FREE anyhow!

So as with any major purchase, comparison shop for the best rates!
