How many Disney Rewards Dollars do I need to redeem them towards a single park ticket?

Hiya, Jamison, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR, and I’m even more thrilled to hEAR that you’re earning Disney Rewards Dollars to use toward your next Disneyland Resort vacation!

One of the greatest perks of being a Disney Visa Cardmember is the special savings and Disney experiences that come along with your card. From discounts on shopping and dining, to exclusive events and Character experiences, there are so many magical reasons to join the club! Plus, as you mentioned, using your Disney Visa Card is a great way to set aside Reward Dollars for your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that a 1-Day Ticket varies in price from $104-209, depending on when you’re arriving, and if you’re visiting one or both theme parks (prices are subject to change without notice). For example, for a 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket, the price can range from $104-154 depending on your arrival date, or, for a 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket, the price can range from $159-209 for Guests 10 years and older (prices are subject to change without notice). So, once you decide which type of ticket you’re interested in, you can go ahead and have your Rewards Dollars transferred to a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. You can order a Redemption Card when you have at least 20 Rewards Dollars, and can reload your Card at any time with a minimum of 10 Rewards Dollars.

In addition to paying for tickets, your Disney Rewards Redemption Card can also be used toward purchases at most Disneyland Resort locations, excluding some restaurants in Downtown Disney District. My friend and fellow Panelist, Tony, has some helpful suggestions on how to use your Redemption Card to pay for meals and tips, too.

I hope this information helps, Jamison! For additional planning resources, I recommend checking out this helpful planning guide. Or, simply stop back hEAR, and we would be happy to help!

Hope to see ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
