Christina from Rio de Janeiro Asked

Do Disney Resorts provides transportation for places outside the complex. For example, shopings, other parks, international drive?

    Hi Christina,

With the exception of Disney's Magical Express, which provides transportation to and from Orlando International Airport, and transportation to and from Port Canaveral to board a Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney does not provide any transportation to destinations outside of the Walt Disney World  Resort.

However, there are many companies providing transportation services in the Orlando area.  One example is Mears.  You can pay for a Mears Shuttle to take you to some non-Disney destinations, such as Universal Studios or Sea World.  Generally, you have to make a reservation ahead of time but it will pick you up at most Disney resort hotels.  Their website is www.mearstransportation.com.  I haven't done this in many years, so I can't personally recommend any of the companies.

Finally, you can easily get a taxi at any Disney resort.

    Have a magical vacation!
