If I have a Disney Resort reservation and have Fast Passes (60 days ahead), what happens if we decide to cancel our resort reservation and stay off site?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathy. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!

I just love Disney's FastPass+ service. When I reserve access to my family's favorite attractions, we're able to get to the fun faster! Guests of Disney Resort hotels may make their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of stay. Should you make FastPass+ selections as a Resort hotel Guest 60 days in advance, and then choose to cancel your reservation and stay off property, you are likely to lose the FastPass+ access you reserved. Once you are no longer eligible for FastPass+ privileges like early booking, the FastPass+ experiences you had reserved will fall off your My Disney Experience account. Some of Disney's most popular attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage and the all-new Slinky Dog Dash have very limited FastPass+ availability 30 days out. I'd hate to see you miss out on such incredible experiences if you cancel your Resort hotel reservation!

The benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel are many. In addition to early FastPass+ planning, Guests may take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and complimentary transportation. With over 25 Disney Resort hotels to choose from, you're sure to find a Resort hotel to fit your family's unique needs, interests, and budget!

I hope this was helpful, Kathy. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
