We have a Disney Resort package that includes park tickets. I booked at another Disney resort 5 days prior to to the package reservation can our package tickets/magic bands be activated 4 days early? If so will fast pass selection be allowed earlier also?

Hello, Jon! It sounds like you and your party are more than eager to get to the fun, and I don’t blame you. There’s nothing like a Walt Disney World vacation to get my excitement to Level 10! And it’s not dropping like the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror!

If you would like to activate your package tickets and MagicBands BEFORE your Magic Your Way Package begins, you can do so up to 14 days before your package check-in date. You’ll have to activate those tickets and MagicBands in person, at the ticket window at any of Walt Disney World’s four Theme Parks. Remember that Magic Your Way base tickets usually expire 14 days after first use, so pay attention to your specific expiration dates and policies.

Also keep in mind that advance FastPass+ reservations will only be able to be made for package dates. If you wish to make FastPass+ reservations for your first Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay, you will have to wait until AFTER you activate your tickets. You could hop on your My Disney Experience Mobile App right after walking away from the ticket window, and hopefully get FastPass+ reservations for all your favorite rides. I know this might be a little bit of a bummer, but when you want to plan in advance, a FastPass+ reservation window will only be available for your package dates.

I hope you are able to enjoy your vacation on your schedule, and please let me know if I can be of any more help! ~Lindsey P.
