    Kera from MO Asked

Is Disney Quest worth the money? If so, how long would you suggest we allocate to spend there? We have an 8-yr old boy.

Welcome to the Moms Panel Kera!  We're glad you're hEAR!

I went to DisneyQuest a couple of weeks ago with my family.  I think you'll find people who think DisneyQuest is well worth the money and others not so much.

If your son is a gamer, he may love it.  They have 5 levels with different games and attractions on each level.  You'll find everything from old school games like air hockey and Guitar Hero to a Virtual Jungle Cruise and a human pinball game.  There are some super cool attractions like Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster (bumper cars with asteroid-firing cannons) and CyberSpace Mountain where you design and ride your own roller coaster.

It can get especially crowded on inclement weather days when people are looking for something to do indoors.  If you visit then, you should be prepared for long lines & long wait times. Some of the attractions have height requirements - the tallest one is 51".

It is loud in DisneyQuest so for any one who has any issues with sensitivity to noise, this would not be a good choice.

I'd recommend going on a morning and arriving when it opens.  If the lines aren't too long, your son may be able to do everything he wants to do in a half a day.   Regular hours of operation are currently Sunday - Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (always subject to change).

I am one of those that likes to try everything at Disney at least once.  If your tickets include the Water Park Fun & More Option, then its certainly worth it to check out DisneyQuest if you have a day with some free time.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
