are disney photo passes worth the money

    Hi Rick,

I think you'll find a variety of opinions about the Photo Pass and whether or not you get enough bang for your buck.  There are a few Mom's on the panel who absolutely think it's worth every penny, and they take advantage of the discount they get for pre-purchasing the photo CD.

For me, I take a wait and see attitude.  During some visits, we run into the Photo Pass photographers everywhere we go and it's convenient to stop and take a few photos.  Depending on the crowds at the parks, you may find that you don't want to wait for a photographer to be available.  The Photo Pass is also VERY convenient if you choose to visit a waterpark.  There are photographers who will take pictures of your little ones playing in the water, and you can even get photos of you and your family enjoying some of the slides together.

The Photo Pass, itself, is FREE and there is no obligation to purchase photos - ever.  Once you return home, you enter the Photo Pass number(s) found on the back of your card(s), and you have 30 days to decide if you want to make a purchase.  Again, you may find that you only want to purchase one print - or you may want to purchase all of the photos on the CD.  Either way, you have nothing to lose, and you may find that there are several photos of your family that you end up wanting to purchase.

With the exception of Test Track, the photos that are taken on many of the attractions cannot be added to your Photo Pass card at this time.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
