    Hannah from WA Asked

Hi Disney Moms Panel, i have a question regarding transportation from the parks. I know that universal studios does transportation to Disneyworld, I was wondering if Disneyworld does the same thing except in reverse? Best to you Hannah

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Hannah! I am so glad to hEAR you have decided to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your upcoming visit. There are so many great benefits to staying at a Resort hotel, such as Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks, early FastPass+ selection, and complimentary transportation to and from your resort. Speaking of transportation, you can even hop in one of the most adorable ways to travel across Walt Disney World Resort, the Minnie Van Service! However, to reach any destination outside the "World," you will need to look for other options.

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort does not directly provide transportation to Universal Studios Orlando. The easiest and most cost effective option I have used is a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft. You could also speak with the Concierge at your resort about assisting you with cab service to your destination. Another option you have, if you plan to spend multiple days traveling away from the Walt Disney World Resort area is to rent a car. There are lots of car rental locations, such as the area airports, the Car Care Center near Magic Kingdom Park, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and a few Disney Springs area hotels. I prefer to rent from The Car Care Center, as they will pick you up from any Walt Disney World Resort hotel, bring you to the location for the rental, and return you to your resort after you drop off the car.

I hope this information helps you plan your magical adventures! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
