I would like a Disney ornament for my daughter's tree that says something to the effect of 1st Disney Trip 2008. Have you seen anything like this or have a suggestion for one to remember this special time? How can I order one? Thanks.

    Hi Brandi,

There are many options at Disney's Days of Christmas store which is located in Downtown Disney (Marketplace) for ornaments to celebrate a 1st Disney trip, but my favorite one I will explain in more detail.  It is quite a large Mickey Mouse (plain head and ears) in many different solid colors (this is a frosted glass ornament).  Once you purchase it, there will be a cast member who is sitting inside the store at a special desk where they will decorate it any which way you would like (this is an additional cost to the price of the ornament itself).  They can paint or draw on it and include phrases such as "1st trip to Disney", etc... and names of family members, the date, add a touch of "magic", etc..etc...  This is such a special ornament and we buy one each time we are there and now that my daughter is a bit older (8 years old) and loves arts and crafts, we buy it plain and she decorates it at home to make it even more personal and special each Christmas.  I would try calling the Disney Merchandise Department at (407) 363-6200 or you can e-mail them at wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com and explain to them what you would like and they can tell you if that is something that can be shipped to you if you aren't planning on a trip to WDW before Christmas.  Just so you know, this store is open year-round for your holiday shopping needs during any one of your trips whether it be Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter!  Happy ornament hunting!

    Best wishes,
