We are going to Disney from October 3rd through the 10th. We don't have reservations at any of the table service restaurants. Will we still be able to get into some without them? More the buffets and maybe Hard Rock, etc.

I just can't say this enough.

    MAKE SOME RESERVATIONS.

If you want to eat at character meals, dinner shows, signature dining restaurants, or meals during typical American dining hours, you need to make reservations in advance. If you call Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) even now, six weeks before your trip, you'll find that many of the popular restaurants will be completely booked.

You're not going to starve. There are some restaurants that often have last minute availability, such as Restaurant Marrakesh (very good, by the way). But if you have table service dining preferences, then you absolutely 100% must call now to make reservations.
