Will be in Disney Oct 19-26, ? is for Kimberly I remember reading your from the pittsburgh area. we will be flying out of pitts. on southwest and 2 of us are really really nervous.Any suggestions to calm our nerves and what about ME when we get to MCO.

Hi!I live near Hershey and have flown Southwest out of Philly. I can help with the nerves! My Prince Charming and I were grounded from the skies for many years due to an emergency landing that caused us great anxiety about flying again. Finally we realized that there were too many places in the world that we wanted to share with our son. Reasonably we knew that driving our car was more dangerous.

I take a Bonine motion sickness pill which helps with nause. I bring an MP3 player loaded with songs including Disney tunes! Use noise reducing earbuds that drown out the engines. Bring magazines, a book, sudoku puzzles or other entertainment. On long trips, our son brings his portable DVD player so he can watch a movie. My son (and even my mom) pass the time playing Nintendo DS games. Try a book on CD. An aisle seat works best for me.

Your flight from Pittsburgh will go quickly as it's only a little over 2 hours from gate to gate.

    For Magical Express:
In Orlando, exit the jetway. You will be in the gate area of Terminal A.
Follow signs to the Main Terminal/Baggage Claim.
Board the "train" to the Main Terminal. Doors open automatically.
In the Main Terminal, you are on Level 3.
Follow signs to the B side of the Main Terminal.
Proceed down the escalator or elevator to level 1 (follow signs for Ground Transportation).
Disney's Welcome Center is in the opposite direction of the car rental desks.

A Disney representative will ask that only 1 member of your party enter the Welcome Center line. There are chairs nearby where the rest of your party can hang out with your carry-on luggage.

You will need the booklet sent with your Magical Express tags and your baggage claim tickets. DME will confirm your departure flight. You'll receive your bus assignment, retrieve your family and step on to the red carpet. You will be directed to the correct bus.

I wish you a safe and magical journey!
