Can you see 'Disney Movie Magic' and Fantasmic on the same night? I am visiting in June. It says Movie Magic is scheduled for 9:10 & Fantasmic for 9. I would like to see both & thought maybe there would be 2 showings of Fantasmic?

Hi Nicole, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

One of my favorite things at the Walt Disney World Resort is the nighttime entertainment. Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers the best nighttime spectaculars on the planet. Trying to choose between Disney Movie Magic and Fantasmic! is like trying to decide if you should have a Dole Whip or a Mickey Bar.

Fantasmic! will take you on a 30-minute journey into Mickey’s imagination. You will experience beautiful fantasies and exciting adventures. But beware of the evil forces trying to invade Mickey’s dream during this epic battle of good vs. evil. Disney Movie Magic will take you on a trip down memory lane with scenes from some of your favorite live-action adventures, musicals, comedies and more. This 10-minute tribute to some of the most iconic moments in Disney Movie history is projected onto the front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Both shows are magnificent and I would love for you to be able to see both of them on the same day. But since they are running at the same time, you may have to choose one over the other. Be sure to check the Times Guide for updated showtimes. If the second showing of Fantasmic! is offered, I would see Disney Movie Magic first and then get a seat for Fantasmic! On a positive note, you may be able to catch a glimpse of Star Wars: A Galatic Spectacular on the streets of Hollywood Boulevard, before you exit the park for the evening.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
