We are going to Disney with our 15 month old. Will she need to wear a magic band? Also when we make our fast pass plus reservations, will she need one too? Thanks!

    Hi Samantha,

You could get a MagicBand for your daughter if you wanted, or if she wanted, but there's really no need for a a baby to have one. There's nothing in the parks that would require a baby/toddler to use a MagicBand. Some small kids would be annoyed by having something on their wrist, while others MUST HAVE the same thing as everyone else in the family. The bands are highly adjustable, so if you want your daughter to wear one, this is certainly possible, but if it seems inappropriate for your family, then that's OK too.

Children under three years of age do not require admission tickets, which means that they can't get FastPasses. You can certainly have your daughter ride on any attraction for which she meets the height requirement. If you have a FastPass+, she can join you on the ride and does not need her own pass.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
