Disney on Monday! Staying at POR-standard room. What is the best building(s) to request? We have 2 children(7/5) do not want to walk a long way to pool/eating area. Not picky about alligator or magnolia buildings.Faxing request this week. Please help!!!

Hi, Cheri!  I love Port Orleans, and hope you have a wonderful time staying there!

The main pool is pretty centrally located to the resort, but I think the Magnolia Terrace building is the closest to just about everything you may need to get to.  None of the buildings is much of a walk to transportation, but Magnolia Terrace is just a quick walk over the bridge to Ol' Man Island, and you can walk right across from there to the main building for everything else you need - food, shopping, front desk, etc.  This is in the Magnolia Bend section.

In Alligator Bayou, lodge 38 is almost as convenient.  It's also just a short walk to the main pool area.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your request!!
