We are going to Disney March 14-18 2016! I have a 7 y/o and a 2 y/o. I know that the 2 y/o will not be able to ride some of the rides that my 7 y/o can. If both adults want to ride the rides with the 7 year old, how does that work? Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karissa, we’ll be happy to help you out.

The Rider Switch program at all Walt Disney World Resort theme parks sounds like the perfect system for your family. This convenient service allows Guests in your travel party the opportunity to ride an attraction even though some in your party cannot. This feature enables one adult to wait with the non-rider while the rest enjoy the attraction. When the riding adult returns, they supervise the non-rider while allowing the rest of the party to enjoy the attraction. The above link has the names of the attractions employing the Rider Switch feature in all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

    Tips:

Have a look at the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones at Walt Disney World Resort, which is packed with Special Offers, appropriate attractions, sample theme park itineraries and much more!

Through My Disney Experience, you can select FastPass+ experiences, make Advanced Dining Reservations and customize your MagicBands.

Karissa, I'm certain you'll benefit greatly from the Rider Switch and wish you a most magical vacation. We look forward to assisting you with your planning in the near future.
