We are going on the Disney Magic and our daughter is afraid of elevators unless they are glass (see through). Are the elevators on Magic glass & see through?

    Ahoy, Erin!

The Disney Magic was the ship that I took my very first Disney Cruise on back in 2010! That was when my adoration for Disney Cruise Line began. And, since her reimagine, the ship is even better!

The elevators in the main atrium area are glass, but are only open to see where you are going for a few floors. I'm not sure if this will be what your daughter considers "safe" or not.

One of our cruise "rules" is that we only use the stairs. It is our way of ensuring that we will get some exercise while onboard (and it counteracts all of the delicious desserts slightly). There are three sets of stairs on the Disney Magic, and we typically are doing a maximum of five floors of stairs. This might be a better plan so that your daughter is not too afraid of the elevators.

I hope you have an amazing time sailing on the Disney Magic. Your daughter will probably LOVE visiting the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, especially Pixie Hollow and Andy's Room.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
