Does Disney still have the Lion King Puppetry show? And I thought Disney was getting rid of the Indiana Jones stunt show?

    Hey Stefanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy to answer your fantastic question today! I hope you will continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel while planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

The “Legend of the Lion King” puppet show which used to take place in Magic Kingdom Park no longer exists. It was closed in 2002 to make way for Mickey’s PhilarMagic. Lion King fans can still enjoy a fantastic puppetry, pageantry and larger-than-life show called Festival of the Lion King over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Festival of the Lion King is actually my favorite show in all of Walt Disney World Resort property. It is absolutely spectacular!

At the present time, there are no plans to close Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! The Attraction that you may be confusing it with is Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show which closed in April of 2016 in preparation for a Star Wars-themed Land and Toy Story Land come to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the future.

Stefanie, I hope I have helped answer your question. Please visit us again if you have any more questions!
