We are going to Disney in June of 2017. We are staying off site. Can I link our tickets to our magic bands from a previous trip?

    Hi Stephanie,

Absolutely! In fact, you certainly will want to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account (which controls your MagicBands) so that you can make FastPass+ choices in advance of your visit. Because you are staying off site, you will be able to reserve FastPasses up to 30 days in advance of your visit.

You also can make advanced dining reservations 180 days in advance and record other plans in your My Disney Experience account.

You won't be able to charge purchases with your MagicBands or access Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks. Those are benefits reserved for Walt Disney World resort guests.

In My Disney Experience, go to the MagicBands & Cards section to make sure your MagicBands are still active. They should be unless you have deactivated them. They can be reactivated, if necessary. Simply re-enter the code found on the inside of the MagicBands.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I've attached a video with my favorite tip for setting priorities as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you make your plans. Enjoy!
