we will be going to disney in june i love to ride any ride my husband not so much and we have 2 kids age 3 and 7 and there were some rides i was wondering how the seating works for them: the great goofini, haunted mansion, the adventures of pooh?

    Hi Amanda!

I applaud your efforts in trying to plan out the logistics of the seating arrangements. It will help avoid the last-minute pressure of figuring out who will ride with whom.  I'll hit your list one at a time:

    1) The Barnstormer: Featuring the Great Goofini - This is hootenanny of a roller coaster that's fun for all ages. There's a height restriction, so your little one will have to be at least 35 inches in order to enjoy this attraction. The ride vehicles are a little tight, but they can accommodate an adult and a child together.

    2) The Haunted Mansion - This is my favorite attraction of them all! The "Doom Buggies" can easily accommodate two adults. However, you may want to have a parent/child seating arrangement in each vehicle. Since it's dark inside the attraction, that may be a smarter plan instead of letting the children share a vehicle by themselves.

    3) The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - The "Honey Pots" for this attraction will be perfect for your family! They each accommodate four guests at a time, two in the front row and two in the back row. Keep your eyes peeled for a cameo appearance by my favorite character - J. Thaddeus Toad, Esq. (from the combo Disney film "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad").

Here's a quick tip - since your husband may wish to bow out of some of the attractions, put him on camera duty. See if he can get some action shots of you and your children enjoying the attractions. If he hangs back on an indoor attraction, have him take "before" and "after" shots. The smiles on your children's faces after they experience an attraction will be an amazing moment in time worth capturing in a photo.

I hope that helps. Please feel free to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel anytime and send me any other questions you may have.

I hope you have an awesome vacation!!
