We are going to DIsney in June, we have 3 daughters, ages 8, 9, and 2. I am worried about being able to go on the bigger rides with the older 2 while we have our 2 year old. Is there some kind of rider swap at Disney to help us with this? Thanks Danielle

Hi, Danielle!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hEAR that you will be taking your princesses on a magical vacation this summer! There are so many new and exciting things happening at the Walt Disney World Resort this year.  Now more than ever, it's the perfect time to visit!

I am happy to tell you that the more adventurous members of your travel party do not need to miss out on attractions, even if your littlest Mouseketeer is too small to ride.  The Walt Disney World theme parks offer the Rider Switch Service for families in your situation.  If you wish to experience an attraction that your 2-year old is too small for, simply approach the Cast Member working at the attraction entrance and ask to use the Rider Switch Service. The Cast Member will scan your MagicBands or admission ticket cards to issue you a Rider Switch entitlement.  One adult can then wait in the standby line with your older daughters while the other adult waits with your youngest.  Once they exit the attraction, the waiting adult may skip the standby line and experience the attraction without having to wait a second time. Please keep in mind that if you wish to use FastPass+ along with the Rider Switch Service, you may certainly do so, but all riders must have a valid FastPass+ for that attraction.

Wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
