Hi. We will be going to Disney on July 27-31. We are going with our grandchildren and their families. My grandson's birthday is July 6th, and my granddaughter's is Aug 30. Do you get any "specials" for birthdays? Thanks,

    Hello Carole!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort is certainly very special and I hear spending the time with your grandchildren makes every trip a "Grand Adventure."

I would call Disney Reservations and ask the Cast Member to make a note on your reservation that you will be celebrating two birthdays during your visit.  Although, there is never a guarantee, it is Disney and you never know when a little Pixie Dust magic will happen. Also, make sure to ask your Resort at check-in or stop by a Guest Relations location to pick up your complimentary birthday buttons. They are a fun way to make sure your grandchildren get a little extra attention in the form of well wishes and  "happy birthdays."

If you are interested in planning some extra surprises, there are wonderful gift basket creations available from Disney Floral & Gifts or amazing specialty cakes available from the Disney bakeries. (To order a cake, call the Specialty Cake Hotline at (407) 827-2253.) These are just a few ideas of how Disney makes it easy to customize any special occasion. If there is anything else I, or any of the other panelists can assist you with, please let us know.

    Have a wonderful vacation, Carole!

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
