Which Disney hotels can accommodate a family of 6? It will be me, my husband, our three children (ages 17, 11, and 11), and my mom? Thanks!

    Hi Elizabeth,

There are several options for families of six. They are:

    - Two connecting rooms at any of the Disney hotels.
    - A Family Suite at the All Star Music resort.
    - A Family Suite at the Art of Animation resort.
    - A Fort Wilderness Cabin.
    - A villa-style room at any of these resorts: Boardwalk, Beach Club, Old Key West, Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower (Contemporary), Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Saratoga Springs.

The cheapest option would likely be connecting rooms at a value resort.

All the other options give you some sort of kitchen or kitchenette as part of your lodgings, which can be a nice way to economize on breakfast. You may also want to consider whether having two bathrooms is important to your family. (I have three teenagers and bathroom space is key for us.)

You can find photos of many of these room configurations on the independent website TouringPlans.com: http://blog.touringplans.com/2013/10/08/disney-world-hotel-options-larger-families/

I'm happy to provide more information about any of the rooms or resorts mentioned. Just let us know what you need.
