Can Disney Gift Cards be used to make a payment or as a down payment on an annual passport? Can this be done when purchasing online or does it have to be done in person at Disneyland?

    Hi, Monica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad to hear you’re thinking of purchasing a Disneyland Resort Annual Passport. I’ve been an Annual Passholder for years, and it’s one of the best ways to get the most magic out of my family’s visits to the theme parks.

If you live in California, you can take advantage of payment options with no interest or finance charges after making a minimum down payment. Each monthly installment is automatically deducted from a debit or credit card that is kept on file—no cash, checks or gift cards are accepted.

You can purchase an Annual Passport with a monthly payment plan either in person at the Disneyland Resort or online. However, if you do purchase it online, you will need to visit the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth to collect your actual Annual Passport card at some point during your first visit.

I hope this helps, Monica. Please visit us again if you have any more questions.

    Wishing you magic,
