    Monica from NJ Asked

Is there Disney gift cards that we can buy and use for food in the parks and restaurants? Thanks

    Hi Monica!

Disney Gift Cards are widely accepted across Walt Disney World Resort, including all four theme parks, Disney Springs, Disney World Water Parks, and Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Gift cards can be used toward purchases of admission tickets, annual passes, hotel rooms, spa services, as well as merchandise, dining and recreation. Guests can use Disney Gift Cards at Disney owned and operated locations where credit cards are accepted.

The only exception are select outdoor merchandise carts/outdoor merchandise vendors, who may not be able to accept gift cards.

Walt Disney World Resort's Water Parks have a special waterproof wearable version of the Disney Gift Card available for purchase, that comes with a wristband. The card is convenient for guests enjoying the Water Parks attractions, and can be used to purchase food and beverages as well as towel and locker rentals. How cool is that?

If you're a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can apply Disney Gift Cards as payment for your hotel room nights or to pay off your accumulated purchases on your MagicBands. All you need to do is stop by the Front Desk and present your gift cards to have them applied to your hotel bill.

Disney Gift Cards can be purchased at many major retail locations, including Walmart, Target, Walgreens and more. I always try to pick up a few before any Walt Disney World vacation!

I hope this helps with your planning! Have a magical day - Diane W.
