I have a Disney Gift Card and Disney Rewards Dollars and I was told that I could give them to my kids..can they use them to buy park tickets?

    Hi Marcia,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. And how awesome of you of wanting to help your children purchase Theme Park Tickets.

I am a Disney Visa charter cardmember and upgraded to a Disney Premier Visa Card the moment it became available. The perks are amazing, and it's the card I use exclusively. What's in my wallet? Darth Vader of course!

I also take advantage of discounted Disney Gift Cards at warehouse clubs like Sam's Club and purchase them throughout the year. Together with the Disney Rewards Dollars accumulated, we are paying off our next adventure: sailing with Disney Cruise Lines. You can use either one of them to purchase Theme Park Tickets, vacation packages, food and merchandise almost everywhere at the Resort, and for purchase at shopDisney and The Disney Store. Although I never used the Disney Rewards Dollars as payment towards a Disney Gift Card, shopDisney says it should be no problem in most instances, but to check as some Disney locations may prevent you from doing so.

One last tip: be sure to check out the Special Offers page. Mickey always tries to help us with our budgets. See you real soon!
