HI, we are going to Disney for the first time with our two kids, ages 6 & 2. We will be there 6 days and I have everything planned out, do we really need the park hopper since I have us at only one park each day? Just can't decide if it's worth it.

I think the answer to this question depends on how much flexibility (or lack thereof) you feel comfortable with. I am a huge planner. I've got everything set months in advance and my reservations are made. But then we get to WDW and things always need tweaking. For example, let's say I've planned to go to the Animal Kingdom on Day 1. I go there, use my ticket, and then it starts to pour. I would probably have a better time in the rain at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Without the park hopper option, I'm stuck at the Animal Kingdom. Other unforeseen problems can derail the best laid plans, including a sick child or the temporary closure of a particular favorite ride. I myself get great comfort in knowing that I have options with the Park Hopper, but the choice is really up to you based on your own style of travel.
