We are going to Disney for the first time ever for all of us we are going to be traveling with a 5 year old and 2 year old and I was trying to figure out what stroller to bring. With that my question is how hard is it to get a jogging stroller on the bus?

Hi Jennifer! This is a tough question as both of your children will likely want a rest in the stroller and the younger one might not want to give up their spot for the older one.  I have always said a simple umbrella stroller is the best way to go as you will find that the bigger the stroller you take the more "stuff" you pack along with you to the parks. Think carefully about what you really will need and leave the rest in the room.

If you feel the five year old will not want to walk the parks then I suggest you consider renting a stroller for your stay. There are many good reputable companies in the area and I have used the Orlando Stroller Rental company with success. You can view the different varieties they offer and choose which one is best for your children. They will deliver and pickup from the resort. If you choose to rent in the parks that will mean you won't have a stroller for the time at the resort or Downtown Disney.

ALL strollers must be folded completely when you hop on a Disney bus. That means don't stuff your bags underneath as you will just have to unpack and figure out what to do with all of it as you also fold a stroller and hold onto the children. Jogging strollers are fine but many don't fold compactly or easily. Consider this too if you decide to rent.

Disney does have a stroller for sale in most park and resort shops. It is a good quality umbrella stroller with a cover. The cost is about $55. In the past I have actually bought one and then donated it to the resort at the end of the trip. It was cheaper and easier to do this then to rent in the parks or from an outside source.
