On Disney Fantasy April 4-11 with the family and Grandchildren I love taking pictures of wildlife such as Flying fish and birds diving. What decks are available for hanging out to take pictures. I have pictures of dolphins , whlaes Turtles and Black rays

    Ahoy, Howard!

It is WONDERful to hEAR from you again. I know you are looking forward to your upcoming cruise on the Disney Fantasy with your entire family. My crew has enjoyed several sailings around the same time of yEAR on this particular ship, and we've always found the weather to be just delightful.

Your question made me smile because you sound a lot like my dad! He's always enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife and nature as a hobby and loves to display his work around my parents' home. I bet you have some amazing shots as well, and hopefully will add to it on your cruise. My favorite spot to take photos on the Disney Fantasy is Deck 4, and I believe you'll have some success here as well. You may also want to check out all the way forward on Deck 13 in front of Satellite Falls. I think you'll have some luck here too because the view is not obstructed by glass. I also suggest exploring Castaway Cay for some unique photo opportunities. I highly recommend the Bike Rentals to see the beautiful scenery up close and to take in the stunning views of the island from the observation tower that is along one of the paths. The route is only about a mile and a half, and it is completely flat. Bikes can be reserved ahead of time online or once on the island using your Key to the World card.

Howard, while onboard be sure to swing by the Disney Vacation Planning Desk on Deck 4, Midship to learn more about other destinations Disney Cruise Line visits. I've been fortunate enough to visit Alaska twice and was captivated by all the wildlife I was able to see both off the ship and on! I know that kind of vacation would be an incredible opportunity for someone like you! You'll find many future sailings include 10 percent off the cruise fare and/or a credit to be used while on that sailing if booked while on your current cruise.  The desk can get busy as the cruise goes on, so I suggest visiting early on. You can even join the line from the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app

Thank you again for sailing by, Howard. Keep us posted as you think of additional questions.
