    My Disney Experience app on iOS for the past 2 years keeps saying “Internet connection Required. Please check connection and try again.” There is no support page or any info on this. I installed and reinstalled. Have even switched phones with no success.

    Hello, Kateia from a fellow South Carolinian! I definitely understand how frustrating it can be when technology doesn’t work the way we want or need it to. Since you’ve mentioned iOS, I’m going to assume you’re using an iPhone. My best guess is that your settings for the My Disney Experience app may be set to “Wi-Fi only,” and if you aren’t somewhere with an available wireless network, you’d receive that error message.

    Try this: 
    1. Go to the “Settings” app on your phone.
    2. Tap “Cellular.”
    3. Scroll down the list until you see the My Disney Experience app (which may show up as “Disney World” on your apps list).
    4. Make sure the toggle switch for that app is green--if it isn’t, just tap the switch to turn it on.

    Hopefully, that will solve the problem! This will allow your phone to access the app and its data over a cellular connection when a Wi-Fi network isn’t available. Just be mindful of your usage if you don’t have an unlimited data plan with your cellular network provider!

    With complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Theme Parks and Water Parks, you shouldn’t have a problem using My Disney Experience to check wait times, book and modify your FastPass+ experiences and dining reservations, view your Disney PhotoPass Service photos and even order food when you’re at the Resort. Here’s hoping this fix solves your technological woes!
