Hi! We will be going to Disney ending of October during Halloween week, I am clueless of what to pack for myself and the kids as we don’t know how the temperature will be at that time. Are shorts ok or should I also pack long pants? Thanks!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joselyn!

I hope you’re looking forward to a FALL-tastic time at the most magical place on earth! Are you planning on attending the most pixie-dusted Halloween party in the world? I hope you are! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the most SPOOK-tacular event of the season!

Joselyn, average temperatures in Orlando during October range from the mid 80º’s for the highs and comfortable low 70º’s for the lows. There can be unpredictable cold snaps, but they are rare. I think shorts are fine if your crew is used to cooler weather in the fall. But definitely pack at least one warm clothing item just in case. And don’t forget to pack some rain gear. You never know when a rain shower might pop-up. They are usually quick passing, but it’s best to be prepared.

I hope this information was helpful! For any additional questions, planning tips, or advice, please do stop by and send those our way.

    See ya real soon!
