I will be in Disney for Easter. I was wondering where we should spend Easter at. I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old who want to hunt for Easter eggs.

    Hi Amanda!
During Easter at Walt Disney World there are some special events for children including an Easter Egg Hunt.  The information for this Easter 2010 that I give below comes directly from Disney Parks Blog (click here for the Disney Parks Blog article about Easter events in Walt Disney World).

At Magic Kingdom Park, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be doing a meet-and-greet in the Tour Guide Garden “intermittently” from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, March 28 – Sunday, April 4. Also, on Sunday, April 4, there will be a 3 p.m. parade that’ll feature an Easter theme with the Easter Bunny, Daisy and other entertainers.

And at Epcot on April 4, there will be Easter egg hunts for children ages 3 to 9 every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. at Heritage Garden at the American Adventure Pavilion. There will also be Easter egg relays for children ages 6 – 12 at Future World West Garden ever 40 minutes from 10:40 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.

Keep in mind that the Easter Season is one of the busiest times of the year in Walt Disney World and some Parks close to any new guests entering due to reaching capacity .  So my advice to you is to go early and stay at a Park for the entire day (especially the Magic Kingdom).

I hope that you and your family have a magical time in Walt Disney World during Easter!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
