We are going to Disney over Easter. We originally were staying off site, but now are thinking about staying at a value. We have a 5 year old and 1 1/2 year old. Which value is the best to stay???

    HI Stephanie,
Easter at Walt Disney World sounds like so much fun!  And your children and a wonderful age for the magic!

We have stayed at all the value resorts, so I can tell you that there are no bad choices here.  They all have great pools (and kiddie pools), playgrounds, and one central building (which houses the food court, gift shop and arcade).

The main difference is the 'theme' of the resorts. The Pop Century Resort focuses on the fun trends of the 1950's, '60's, '70's, '80's and 90's.  The All Star Sports resort features popular sports themes.  The All Star Music has sections of the hotel which feature different styles of music.  Finally, the All Star Movies Resort features the themes and icons from popular Disney movies.  To my mind, this might be the most fun for the ages of your children.  If they know Disney movies, I'm sure they will recognize some of the icons and building themes; they come from Toy Story, Fantasia, The Love Bug, The Mighty Ducks and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Stephanie, have a magical time together with your family!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
