I will be in Disney during the MNSSHP wth my 10, 17,and 18 yr old sons. My 10 yr old wants to attend the party but I am having a hard time justifying the extra money for the ticket. The 2 older boys would rather go to Disney quest. Is it worth it?

    Hi Karen!

This is a difficult question.  One of the highlights of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is trick or treating throughout the park.  I can understand older teenagers saying that they are too old to go trick or treating.  However, I can tell you it is a lot of fun, even for the adults.  I know for me, it's fun and reminds me of when I was child trick or treating!

The party does have a special parade and special fireworks.  The parade is one of the best parades put on in the Magic Kingdom and, in my opinion, the HalloWishes fireworks show is the best fireworks show at Walt Disney World.  You can only see the Boo To You Parade and HalloWishes by attending the party.

Finally, if you go on a week night not too close to Halloween, there is a good chance the park won't be that crowded.  Thus your older children could go off and enjoy the attractions while you and your son enjoy the special party activities.

My recommendation is to go.  I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
