Hi! I am going on the disney dream 4 night bahamas cruise that leaves on the 12th of may. I am a little confused regarding the dinner attire.. Ive heard that the kids dress up for dinner (like in costumes) and was wondeing what is the dress code?? Thanks

Welcome aboard, Jessica! Only a few more days until your family sets sail on the Dream! You must have your luggage out and ready to pack at this point! Very exciting!

Your four-night sailing on the Dream will most likely have the following attire rotation for dinner:
    Night 1: Cruise Casual
Night 2: Dress Up Night (Formal or Semi-Formal)
    Night 3: Pirate Night
    Night 4: Cruise Casual

Cruise Casual on Disney Cruise Line means nice casual attire. Disney asks that no shorts, jeans or tank tops (think pool-wear) be worn to dinner. Men typically wear long khakis with polo shirts, which is perfect for boys as well. Women wear nice pants, skirt or simple summer dresses, as do little girls. A princess dress costume is always appropriate on Disney Cruise Line for little princesses, and you will certainly see many little princesses running around!

Formal/Semi-Formal night is the time to break out the dress shirts and/or ties or jackets for men and boys and nicer dresses for women and girls (or again, a princess dress would be fine for a little girl).

Pirate Night is so much fun on the ships! Pack some pirate gear for the whole family, (or buy some onboard!) as even your dining servers and the characters will be wearing their swashbuckling best that night. After dinner, head up on deck for the Pirates IN the Caribbean party and fireworks. That night, you'll see anything from just cruise casual wear to families in full pirate costumes. Each guest will receive a pirate bandana that night, but many guests go way beyond that! Get into the spirit of the night and have fun with it. It certainly makes for some great photo opportunities and memories, Jessica!

Have an amazing cruise next week!
