With Disney Dining, can you use two Quick Service meal credits for a character buffet or table service meal?

    Hi Kimberly!

Thanks for your question. Choosing a Disney Dining Plan is so good for many reasons:

    A. You save money (anywhere from 15% - 20% depending on dining plan option and length of stay).

    B. You can rest easy knowing your meals are already covered the second you arrive, and can focus your energy on those fun, timeless memories surrounded by friends and family :-)

    C. You don't have to pull out your credit card each time, as the Dining Plan will be tied to your very cool Disney MagicBands

To your question: You can't use or combine your Quick Service meal entitlements to equal a table service or character dining experience. However, you are allowed to convert 1 Quick Service meal entitlement into 3 snacks at the resort of which you are staying. As it relates to the Dining Plans, I like to use the analogy of being allowed to downgrade meals, but you can't upgrade. For example, on the standard Disney Dining Plan, which includes 1 Table-Service Meal, that 1 Table-Service Meal can be converted into 2 Quick Service Meals.

My suggestion would be if you feel you'll be doing more table service meals as opposed to quick service, go ahead and change or upgrade your meal plan to the standard Disney Dining Plan. You'll thank yourself later for doing this :-)

Thanks again, and have a Mickey Magical Day!
