Can Disney Dining Plan be used to pay for Pirates and Pals?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Sharon ~

My family of buccaneers absolutely loves the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage! It is a fantastic experience from beginning to end and combines some of our favorite things: yummy desserts, character experiences, a voyage on the high seas (okay - the Seven Seas Lagoon), and it is a great way to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

The adventure begins even before you set sail as you start by enjoying some super tasty treats. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee join in the fun for photos before leading your crew down to the docks to board. We love the activities on-board including Disney trivia with prizes. The crew will also recognize anyone celebrating any special occasions.

The soundtrack to the fireworks is piped into your boat so you don't miss a thing. And depending on the timing of the fireworks, you may also get an up close view of the Electrical Water Pageant. How cool is that?! The fun doesn't end after the fireworks as there will be a surprise guest waiting for you back on the dock.

Currently, the Disney Dining Plan is not accepted for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage. Perhaps that will change in the future, but for now, it is not accepted. Reservations for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage are highly recommended and can be made up to 90 days prior to your trip through the link provided above or by calling 407-939-7529. Advanced payment is required when making your reservation.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
