Can u get the disney dining plan with a room? (without getting the park tickets) I already have park tickets left over from last year.

    Lisa:

Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan is only offered with Disney vacation packages and those include both the room and at least a one-day park ticket.  In my opinion, purchasing the ticket, even just for one day, isn't worth it to add the Dining Plan.

FYI: Now that our family only has one child eligible for the dining plan and three of our kids cost the adult price, we haven't used the dining plan on our most recent trips.  Instead, we've come out better when we bring our own breakfast foods, and I try to make our table service either a late breakfast seating (think 11:00 a.m., practically brunch/lunch) with an early counter-service for dinner or a buffet lunch with the counter-service for dinner. Ordering a la carte at non-buffet restaurants is even better if you can keep your children from getting the most expensive item on the menu or dessert...

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
