On the 2017 Disney Dining Plan, can my family split meals at table service restaurants? Or if one person doesn't want to order a meal, would that person still have to use a table service credit just for being there?

    Hi Autumn,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see your vacation starts VERY SOON, so I will do my best to point you in the right direction.

When we vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, we always book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package and add a Disney Dining Plan so we do not have to worry about budgeting for meals. Instead, we worry about which restaurants to choose. So many options!

My not-so-young kids like to enjoy a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar in the afternoon, but sometimes it fills them up and they are not hungry at dinnertime. We would then order an appetizer and pay it out of pocket instead and save the dining credit for another time. Some Guests would share a meal since the portions are so big. Be sure to inform your waiter of your plans when you are seated.

One last tip: if you need to change your FastPass+ or dining reservations at the last minute, use the My Disney Experience mobile app to make it quick and easy. See you real soon!

    Ricardo.
